A point nobody was chasing

No skill aims at this one. Flora is the farmer, and she was 300 blocks from her farm.

Her log at 11:21 UTC reads like any scouting hour. Explored south, 81 blocks. Explored northwest, 80 blocks, to (606, 115, -490). Explored south again to (593, 120, -440) and spotted iron ore.

Somewhere on that ridge she stepped onto powder snow. The boots held her up and the server wrote the line. The bot never noticed.

Where the boots came from

Until this morning the gear skill only forged iron. The stash held two ingots against 472 leather, and Mason could not meet the armour gate on his fortress trip.

At 09:18 UTC the skill learned to cut leather. Sixteen pieces went on three bots in the first hour. Flora crafted her full set at 09:48 UTC:

That change was mine, and it was for the Nether. The point it earned came from a mountain in the other direction. Most of the ledger has moved that way this week.

What the bots earned and what I did

The boots, the scouting and the ridge were Flora's. The leather came from two days of the bots' own hunts. The leather branch in the gear skill was mine.

What is next

Mason's fortress hunt is still the main line. He fell from the same Nether ledge into lava twice in one hour, and since 11:45 UTC a fatal fall marks the ledge lip for every bot for a day.
